2020.09.22 17:07 Data_SwarmWhat are your faction's battle cries?
In the Machine, the Demonic genetically enhanced super soldiers known as Darktroopers are locked in a constant battle against basically the entire universe. They call this infinite crusade "the Big War" and it's a huge part of the Machine's propaganda and culture. Darktroopers have hypnotic suggestions woven into their psyche designed to trigger specific reactions, and the words "big war" pretty much flood them with adrenaline to prepare for a conflict, especially when repeated en masse, so Darktrooper Commanders will often begin chanting "big war... big war..." and other Darktroopers join in, kind of like a wolf instinctively howling in response to his pack doing the same, until eventually you have tens of thousands of the Demon soldiers marching forward and screaming out in unison. "BIIIIIIG WAAAAR! BIIIIIIG WAAAAR!" As you can imagine this quickly became infamous, feared and synonymous with the Machine's endless hateful mission to conquer the universe. What do your world's soldiers shout as they charge to meet their enemy? Does it have any meaning? Is it even made up of words at all? Or is it just a specific noise they make? How would your armies react to a Darktrooper advance? I'd love to hear it!

i look outside my apartment window, after what seems like hours after watching the relentless flashes of lightning and listening to the light pitter patter of rain against the mostly cemented ground outside my apartment complex. it has just stopped raining, and the usually metropolitan grey skies are nowhere near clear, with patches of musky shades of brown randomly spotting the sky. i cannot tell if it is the yellowish glow of the restless city beneath that makes the sky seem lighter than it really is, or if i am simply seeing the sky for what it truly is, a washed out palette of dark, nightly colours. i wish i knew how rain does the things she does. i wish i knew how she soothes every living creature and how she romanticises even the most unromantic things. how everything now seems tinted with a little droplets of magic and the pungent, lasting scent of rain; petrichor. i like to think that they are synonymous (rain and magic, i guess), a form of a believable miracle. perhaps a few million tears shed by the sky; the thunder, an ache of pain. the road seems to almost glow brighter underneath the dimming lights of the shops. the rain has done something to it. the road now effervesces the rain’s light and reflects the light of these very shops that seem to die down. but the roads remain alive, breathing lightly, devouring every form of it that rushes by, whether it be a softly lit motor back, or a brightly lit tuk tuk. there’s something about this city that seems to never die, even when the skies shed tears and the lights dim. the lights never seem to dim. they’ll only brighten. a city of a million glimmers of pale yellow lights. if you like this please check out my blog!! www.metamorphiclucidities.wordpress.com

This game can definitely trigger people; especially if they are being called a liar or a sus. No one likes being called that or anything synonymous to it. But please do not take it seriously. This game is designed to be just that: calling people liars and susing people. This is the games design. I have been in countless games where people took it way too seriously to the point where they feel their mental intellect was in question. My only answer is this: it's only a game. This game is designed to make you suspicious of everyone. Just be better next game. Also, kids play this game everyone. Don't let your own toxicity influence the next gen of gaming. Lastly, and I cannot stress this enough: It. Is. Only. A. Game. This is not a test of your intelligence. Most of the damn time it is damn sheer coincidence you see red venting. No one is insulting you. We are just playing the game. Mods, if I broke rule 1 or 10, feel free to remove. Red is always the sus.
2020.09.22 08:37 A_Madman123According to Apple, Reddit and Instagram is news.
I was just reorgaizing my apps, cause of the new ios 14 update and cause I hadnt done it in at least 5 years. I had taken every app out of its folder, and was going through making new folders, cause I prefer everything to be accessible through a couple of presses rather than swipes. I put insta and reddit together, by chance, and it gave the folder the name of news. Has it really become that social media is synonymous with the word “news”. Idk i dont post often but i found this interesting enough, and maybe a little scary. Lmk what u think

Sanskrit āścarya-vat paśyati kaścid enam āścarya-vad vadati tathaiva cānyaḥ āścarya-vac cainam anyaḥ śṛṇoti śrutvāpy enaṁ veda na caiva kaścit Synonyms āścarya-vat — as amazing; paśyati — sees; kaścit — someone; enam — this soul; āścarya-vat — as amazing; vadati — speaks of; tathā — thus; eva — certainly; ca — also; anyaḥ — another; āścarya-vat — similarly amazing; ca — also; enam — this soul; anyaḥ — another; śṛṇoti — hears of; śrutvā — having heard; api — even; enam — this soul; veda — knows; na — never; ca — and; eva — certainly; kaścit — someone. Translation Some look on the soul as amazing, some describe him as amazing, and some hear of him as amazing, while others, even after hearing about him, cannot understand him at all. Purport Since Gītopaniṣad is largely based on the principles of the Upaniṣads, it is not surprising to also find this passage in the Kaṭha Upaniṣad (1.2.7): śravaṇayāpi bahubhir yo na labhyaḥ śṛṇvanto ’pi bahavo yaṁ na vidyuḥ āścaryo vaktā kuśalo ’sya labdhā āścaryo ’sya jñātā kuśalānuśiṣṭaḥ The fact that the atomic soul is within the body of a gigantic animal, in the body of a gigantic banyan tree, and also in the microbic germs, millions and billions of which occupy only an inch of space, is certainly very amazing. Men with a poor fund of knowledge and men who are not austere cannot understand the wonders of the individual atomic spark of spirit, even though it is explained by the greatest authority of knowledge, who imparted lessons even to Brahmā, the first living being in the universe. Owing to a gross material conception of things, most men in this age cannot imagine how such a small particle can become both so great and so small. So men look at the soul proper as wonderful either by constitution or by description. Illusioned by the material energy, people are so engrossed in subject matters for sense gratification that they have very little time to understand the question of self-understanding, even though it is a fact that without this self-understanding all activities result in ultimate defeat in the struggle for existence. Perhaps they have no idea that one must think of the soul, and thus make a solution to the material miseries. Some people who are inclined to hear about the soul may be attending lectures, in good association, but sometimes, owing to ignorance, they are misguided by acceptance of the Supersoul and the atomic soul as one without distinction of magnitude. It is very difficult to find a man who perfectly understands the position of the Supersoul, the atomic soul, their respective functions and relationships and all other major and minor details. And it is still more difficult to find a man who has actually derived full benefit from knowledge of the soul, and who is able to describe the position of the soul in different aspects. But if, somehow or other, one is able to understand the subject matter of the soul, then one’s life is successful. The easiest process for understanding the subject matter of self, however, is to accept the statements of the Bhagavad-gītā spoken by the greatest authority, Lord Kṛṣṇa, without being deviated by other theories. But it also requires a great deal of penance and sacrifice, either in this life or in the previous ones, before one is able to accept Kṛṣṇa as the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Kṛṣṇa can, however, be known as such by the causeless mercy of the pure devotee and by no other way.
2020.09.22 02:33 Tuesdaythe5thLaw and Order as a smoke-screen for attacking the other
Law and it's ability to change makes it seem like a really weird thing to care so deeply about "Law and Order". Trump today in a rally, when talking about drug prices said something like "The law said we paid tariffs so I changed the law". Laws have the ability to change, pretty easily, so building your lust around "Law" seems really weird. Is the "Law and Order" Trump talks about just a synonym for the people he and his base dislikes being hurt? Is this rhetoric just a thin veneer over the desire to hurt people with different tastes, opinions, lifestyles? Example, Burning flags is already a well established legally OK thing to do but Trump seems to have a major hard-on for giving prison sentences to people doing a legal thing he just dislikes.
Lots of guys have caught on to the mission of making disciple(r)s. This is great. I have three qualms with how this is manifesting here, though:
Some men are adopting this mission externally rather than internally. "The Bible says I need to do it, so I'm going to do it" is an acceptable starting point, but it's also a very blue pill approach. I've said here before: The red pilled Christian doesn't "enter Christ's frame," as many suggest. He is internally transformed/sanctified so that HIS OWN frame becomes synonymous with Christ's frame. The mission to make disciples is something you do for you, not something you do to appease God or earn his favor (which would be legalism), and having a proper perspective on this world in light of eternity necessitates this conclusion for anyone paying attention.
I don't get the picture that many guys actually know what discipler-making looks like, often confusing the process with more common concepts like evangelism or mentoring. Join the RPC discord if you want to flesh this out more, as it's a much better place for getting insight. Otherwise, I do intend to proceed with the 300 series soon.
Other guys have compartmentalized their mission from their mate.
We've talked about the first before, and the second will be upcoming, but let's focus on the third for now. COMPARTMENTALIZATION I'm as guilty of doing this as anyone else here. I don't mean just in the past - I'm talking the present too. It's an easy trap to fall into, especially within the red pill scene where there's so much emphasis on the man doing his own thing separate from the inappropriate influence of his wife. Yet there's a significant difference between being influenced by her and influencing her. To be clear, there are areas where you SHOULD be influenced by your wife. Maybe she has skills you don't, or insight you lack, or experiences you could benefit from. Don't shoot all that down just because you have some ridiculous notion of what it means to be a "red pill man." The red pill is about understanding the truth - and I'll add: in its proper context. Yes, it may be a red pill truth that sometimes women need to be told no. But don't be autistic about it. When it comes to being the one doing the influencing, lots of guys take a pass. Or, more accurately: they become passive. They take the "autist" route of misunderstanding the red pill advice of "do your own thing and let her follow" as "I'm just going to ignore her and expect her to get with the program all on her own." That's foolish. But the natural conclusion of this foolishness is segregating your mission from your mate. Why?
Maybe she told us she didn't want to be involved, so we obeyed her like good little children
Maybe she's not naturally good at helping in our mission, so we didn't even bother trying to train her
Maybe we're just idiots and completely forgot to include her in the first place
Whatever your reason, the reality is that this needs to be fixed. Your wife is your helper. Let her help. If she doesn't try on her own, invite her. If she's not good at it, train her. If she resists, correct her. If she fails, encourage her. RED PILL EXCUSES What I DON'T want you doing is using the red pill as an excuse to avoid connecting her with your mission. I noticed myself doing this at one point, and I've seen it in other men. Their wife isn't following, so you say things like "1,000 foot rope" and "you do you" as cop-outs for never actually trying to connect with her on your mission in the first place. Yes, the 1,000 foot rope may take time to reel in. Yes, "you do you" certainly applies. But these only make sense IN THE CONTEXT of her refusing to join in with the program. What if she doesn't refuse? Then there's no point going off on your own! How do you know if she will or won't? Some guys fail to involve their wives for the same reason other guys fail to ask out a girl in the first place: "What if she says no?!?" Oooh, the horror. So, you guarantee the bad conclusion (rejection) in order to maintain your feeling of control and dominance over the situation, giving a false sense of safety and emotional stability. But if you can get on board with the idea of a single guy asking a girl out in order to build confidence (either through success or gradual immunization from rejection), the same should apply to you with your wife, just in a different context. The principles are still the same. When a single Christian man asks out a girl, that's his way of saying, "I want you to be my helper in what God has in store for my life." In case you haven't caught on, what "God has in store" is for you to make disciplers. When a married Christian man is compartmentalizing his mission and his mate, he's in the same scenario, needing to ask her: "Will you start helping me in what God has in store for our lives?" MARRIAGE AND MINISTRY For discipler-makers, here's a principle to live by: Your marriage affects your ministry. You may not realize how, and even after hearing the explanation you still may not see it ... but it does. Discipleship is about life-modeling. If your marriage sucks, how can you model for other men what marriage should look like? The Church has been warned that if a man can't manage his own household, he shouldn't manage God's household either. 1 Timothy 3:5. "One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much." Luke 16:10. And that applies to leading your family, if you want to have greater influence in God's Kingdom. Get the point? But the connection goes to another level: your wife should be the first among those you disciple, and your children after her. How can a man pretend to disciple other men if he does not disciple his own family? It's a lunacy trap I'd been caught in for years, and having escaped it I see how many other men are there too. It ultimately stems from a weak frame - a man who likely believes, "My wife would never let me disciple her." This, as described above, is partly due to misconceptions about what biblical discipleship actually looks like and how to implement it in the context of a marriage (a process I'd enjoy much more discussion on). But it's more commonly because most guys haven't developed a frame that's strong and attractive enough to handle it. FIRST AMONG We've already said that your wife should be the first among your disciples. Great. But it's more than just that. She's also the first among those who should WANT to follow your lead. Does she? Your wife has vowed to follow you, right? If anyone would want to follow you, she has more motive and obligation than anyone else. Now, remove the obligation component. Suppose the Bible never said wives should submit to their husbands, but still impressed on the man the obligation to lead their wives. The dynamic suddenly shifts to parallel the rest of the world in your discipler-making efforts, where you have an obligation to lead them toward Christ-likeness, yet they have no obligation to submit to your leadership. With that in mind, the principles that will cause your wife to want to follow you are identical to what will cause others to want to follow you. Physical attractiveness, strength, confidence, charisma, charm, wit, emotional stability, financial acuity, a clear vision, etc. - these are all things that make you more attractive to your wife, and will also make you more attractive to the rest of the world. She's just the first among your followers. Yes, you can probably get a guy or two to follow you even if your wife won't. But I've found that such relationships rarely produce fruit in the long-haul. They're guys who often see themselves as more your peer, and generally tend to be low-value men who share similar struggles as you. Maybe they respect one aspect of you that they want to learn from, but will they truly want to be discipled by you the way Jesus discipled his 12? Probably not. My point: If you want to be effective at your mission, be effective in it at home first. I don't mean "first" in a successive sense - "this first, then that" - but in a priority sense. Have other guys you're working with too. Be simultaneous inside and outside the home. But make sure your home life is the priority. That's where it starts. Because that's where you're going to model for other men what they should look like in their own life and relationships. CONCLUSION If you don't know who to disciple, start with your wife/girlfriend. If you can't figure out why you're not effective at making disciples outside the home, perhaps it's because you haven't prioritized making disciples inside the home. The same things that make your wife want to follow you will also make other people want to follow you. In another context, this is much of why we talk so much about improving men's marriage and sex lives - not because we're obsessed with marriage and sex. It's because the processes are often parallel, and a healthier marriage/sex-life is a waypoint on the larger journey toward advancing God's Kingdom during your time on this earth.
2L O2 via NC: “Two liters of oxygen via nasal canula”. The amount of oxygen being supplied to a patient through a nasal canula, which is that plastic thing under the nose of every attractive dying teenager on that medical drama you like. 87F / 48M : “87 year old female,” “48 year old male,” respectively. ABG : “Arterial Blood Gas”. A way of checking the pH, oxygenation and amount of CO2 dissolved in the blood (along with a few other things) as an indirect test of lung function or certain metabolic processes. Chief Complaint : The final straw. Whatever brought the patient in. CIWA Protocol : “Clinical Institute Withdrawal Assessment for Alcohol”. A defined schedule to give Ativan or similar medications to patients in alcohol withdrawal. Used in context of the not-uncommon speculation among the medically-inclined, “Would I have to go on CIWA protocol if I got admitted?” given the amount of wine and martini quaffing nurses and MDs accomplish during their down time. CKD : “Chronic Kidney Disease”. Exactly what it says on the tin. Also a medical billing checkbox for “Money, pwease!” Can lead to the need for dialysis. Coumadin : Rat poison. Also used to prevent blood clots. CMP : “Complete Metabolic Panel”. A more thorough blood test than a BMP, includes liver function markers. Code : The word you put before some shade of the rainbow to make it horrible and depressing. Used in overhead PA announcements so that the entire hospital hears a calm “Code pink, labor and delivery,” instead of, “OH SHIT SOMEONE STOLE AN INFANT EVERYONE START BARRICADING THE JOINT” CPR : “Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation”. Yes, Cardiopulmonary stands for two letters. A violent medical procedure with a success rate of 75% on TV and about 15% in real life. Crashed : Like Tanked but worse. Not entirely synonymous with Coded, but same ballpark. CVA : “Cerebrovascular Accident”. Fancier way of saying stroke. CXR : “Chest X-ray”. That thing the handsome doctors are pondering over instead of just glancing at the radiologist’s report on the intro to that medical show you like.
2020.09.21 16:45 _Balder_dashA contemporary look at fascist political organization in India .
The phrase Hindutva has been cropping up more and more frequently in Indian political debate and thought for many years now, and deserves a deeper understanding and study of it. In his 1923 essay, Hindutva : Who Is a Hindu, V.D. Savarkar defined Hindutva as a spiritual, religious, and cultural history of the Hindu nation - which to many is synonymous with India - sharing a common nation, common race, and common civilisation. Already quite hegemonic in conception, this idea of a pervasive Hindu influence gained popularity and found expression within the Indian political arena time and time again since the term was coined. It has found support amongst the right and far right of the political spectrum, and been associated with many political parties over time. The right leaning nature of Hindutva ideology has drawn comparisons with fascist regimes over time - a comparison that is not entirely unwarranted. Fascism is another term that is widely applied but often misunderstood, and deserves to be accurately represented in this case in order to answer the question are contemporary Hindutva groups expressions of fascist ideology? Fascism can be understood to be an “organized form of integrative radical nationalist authoritarianism” which is characterized by dictatorial power, the use of force to suppress opposition, and a strongly regimented society and economy. It gained international momentum after World War I, spreading outward from Italy. The social and political conditions of post war Europe and contemporary India are dissimilar enough that exact parallels may not be found, but certain striking similarities should serve as chilling reminders of the possibility of fascist resurgence in India. It is well enough to say that contemporary Hindutva exhibits significant characteristics of fascist movements, but this statement must be supported by adequate research and a critical analysis. Three questions must be answered - firstly, we must identify who/what are the main proponents of hindutva in contemporary India, and what the goals of these individuals/organizations are. Within this context we must analyze their ideologies and activities, and examine how these actors stand in comparison to fascist regimes in the past. Within the diverse and multifaceted Indian political arena, Hindutva is associated with a multitude of different organisations and movements. In the sake of relevancy, the purview of study shall be restricted to the more relevant actors, with a look at their history and presence in today’s India. The oldest and most significant group would be the Hindu Nationalist organization the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a large organization with close associations with the ruling Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP). These organizations are interconnected with others like Bajarang Dal, Vishva Hindu Parishad, and dozens of others active all over the country and internationally. The RSS is the leading Hindu supremacist organization in India, founded in 1925 to oppose Muslim separatists and colonial rule. From its very inception the group took inspiration from the Fascist Party in Italy, eventually being banned for its militant activities and forced underground. Leaders of the group expressed open admiration of Adolf Hitler during World War II, and the group resurfaced during the time of the partition. On 30th January, 1948, member of right wing group Hindu Mahasabha and ex-member of the RSS Nathuram Godse assassinated M.K.Gandhi in New Delhi, being banned once again. It was banned once more after the leaders of the RSS organised the destruction of the Babri Masjid as part of the Ram Janambhoomi movement. Fuelled by the Ayodhya issue and other communal tensions, the RSS affiliated BJP formed a major coalition and won the general elections of 1998, with Vajpayee as their Prime Ministerial candidate. The BJP remained a strong opposition party, gaining and overwhelming majority in the 2014 General elections under Narendra Modi, the former CM of Gujarat and registered Swayamasevak. The focus of the RSS is a Hindu renaissance and to build a strong unified Hindu nation, to the exclusion of all other communities; “in a word they must cease to be foreigners; or may stay in the country, wholly subordinated to the Hindu nation, claiming nothing, deserving no privileges, far less any preferential treatment—not even citizens' rights”. This ideal of a pan-India Hindu hegemony is central to the organisation, and in furtherance of this ideal other groups splintered off from the RSS to further Hindu hegemony. These related organizations together with the RSS form the Sangh Parivar, literally meaning Family of Organisations, which include the Vishva Hindu Parishad, the Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, the Bhartiya Kisan Sangh, and many other rural and urban organisations spread through the country and abroad. The Sangh Parivar forms the largest voluntary missionary organisations in the world, and is one of the largest voluntary paramilitary forces on the planet. These groups engage in the propagation of a cultural nationalism which places India as a homeland for Hindus, brought together by a geographic and cultural connection - an establishment of Hindu hegemony. Indian culture is seen as synonymous with Hindu culture, to the exclusion of all else. Another common goal of many members of the Sangh Parivar and other organisations is the establishment of a Uniform Civil Code - they argue that differential laws are violative of article 44 of the Indian Constitution - causing further division between communities. This is a push against perceived “pseudo-secular” policies which they believe are biased in favour of Muslims and Christians. In general, the groups associated with Hindutva argue for the protection of Hindu interests, often at the expense of minority communities, such as arguing for a more hardline stance in Kashmir. The RSS and other organisations associated with Hindutva views the term Hindu as having a cultural connotation referring to those who belong to the Hindu homeland, including Sikhs, Buddhists, and Jains. This is a homogenous, hegemonic view of India and of Hinduism that is both exclusionary as well as inaccurate. Golwalkar defined the mission of the RSS as the revitalisation of the traditional Hindu value system focused on peace and prosperity for all (Hindus) as the end goal. However, this is an abstract and vague ideal - a nice, pretty aegis under which one finds a darker and much more alarming reality. If one examines the activities of the RSS and the Sangh Parivar, one begins to see a pattern of increasingly divided religious identity, communal conflict, vote bank politics, corruption and violence that are reminiscent of early 20th century Italy and Germany. Hindutva shares many characteristics with Fascism - firstly, the attempt to unify and mobilise a majority under a homogeneous umbrella, the Hindu. The Hindu is akin to the Nazi conception of the Aryan Race, the racially superior ubermensch. There is also the sense of injustice and atrocity committed against the homogenous majority by a mysterious other - the Muslim community, which is reminiscent of the anti-semitic rhetoric and propaganda used to vilify the Jewish community in post-war Germany. We find the same ultranationalism and the myth of national rebirth present in postwar Italy and Germany as we see being echoed today within India. Indian history is revised and reinterpreted to push political agendas, just as it was in Germany and Italy. Similar assertions of chauvinistic ideals of masculinity linked with patriotism - tools to incite violence against minority groups - are being made time and time again. Both Fascism and Hindutva have populist elements in their ideology, seeking not to transcend the current state but rather invert perceived oppression/oppressed relations. Too frequently will headlines echo fascist terror tactics: physical threats, mobs that burn or loot, open incitement of violence. Private militias used for political violence are another factor common to both Fascism and Hindutva. One must first examine the attempts to mobilise the majority under the banner of Hindu. Now, what exactly is a Hindu? According to the reply provided by RSS General Secretary in a 1967 hearing, “The term Hindu in the conviction as well as in the constitution of the RSS is a cultural and civilizational concept and not a political or religious term. The term as a cultural concept will include and did always include all including Sikhs, Buddhists, and Jains.” A good enough definition, but not entirely accurate. The term Hindu is unclear at best, with hundreds of sects dedicated to worshipping different gods with no real organisation between sects, a lack of a clearly shared culture, different languages and ethnicities. Being a Hindu is an unclear thing, with little to link Hindus from different parts of the country apart from the label itself. Hinduism in the sense of the Hindutva movement is not defined by any positive association of what one is, but rather what one isn’t. One is not necessarily a Hindu, but one definitely isn’t a Muslim so one is a Hindu, even if one doesn’t really know what it means. This is because the a key ingredient of modern Hindu identity was the negative rejection of religious identity rather than positive assertion, whether it be the colonial apparatus producing identities through the census or homegrown political parties furthering and hardening the religious split. For someone unsure about their own religious identity, it is easier to reject what you are not than to know who you are., especially when what you are is as nebulous a term as Hindu. It is easier to think, I am not a Muslim than it is to know that I am a Hindu. The presence of, and a reaction to, a perceived “Other” was a key part of Nationalist Hindu identity formation, and thus is inseparable from it. This mobilisation of the populace under the banner of Hindu is reminiscent of the Nazi efforts to mobilise the German public using the racial theory that pitted “Nordic Aryans” that made up the majority of the German population against a perceived other, the Jews. Antagonism against an “Other” who has committed atrocities against the homeland is visible in both Nazi Germany in their campaign to vilify and persecute the Jewish community, and modern India where it comes to communal conflict and the persecution of Muslims and other minorities. The Ram Janambhoomi movement was manufactured around the location of the Babri Masjid, asserting that it was Hindu land, Rama’s birthplace, that the mosque stood on. This narrative of being wronged by a foreign culture created a feeling of resentment and rage, which exploded in the demolition of the mosque by BJP and RSS sevaks over the course of five hours - despite assurances from the government that the mosque would not be harmed. This set off a chain of communal riots where the Shiv Sena and members of the Sangh Parivar were responsible for arming mobs of Hindu agitators and organising much of the violence. The BJP and other Hindutva organisations used the opportunity to split the populace for political aims, further hardening the religious split and exploiting it for political benefit. The “other” who has wronged the homeland in any way is often described as privileged or powerful, which is an absurd suggestion to make considering Muslims are incredibly marginalized, and hugely under-represented at the higher levels. In Germany, this was the view pushed by the Nazi propaganda against Jewish community, who were made out to be massively privileged but unproductive members of society. There too, the privilege was supposedly the product of policies of appeasement by the government - part of allegedly ‘pseudo secular’ policies that both the Nazi Party and the Sangh Parivar campaigned against. In Nazi Germany, the supposedly privileged Jewish community was blamed for the defeat in the first World War, and just like Muslims in India today, held responsible for the supposed sins of their ancestors. Just as Muslims are lynched and messages like Babur ki Aulad scrawled across their corpses were the Jews of Germany forced to stand trial for the actions of their ancestors during the time of Christ. The ideas of racial purity also find themselves within the rhetoric of both right wing Hindu Nationalists and the Nazi party. The Jew supposedly had bad blood that was to be contained and not allowed to contaminate the pure Nordic Aryan genes of the German people. This idea found institutional expression, with marriage between Jews and Germans being banned. Children of German and Jewish people were officially recorded as Jewish, despite any amount of genetic contribution was from the “pure” German side. In India, the idea of racial purity is once again presented as a form of foreign invasion - Love Jihad. These supposed Love Jihads are aimed at increasing the number of Muslims within India by reproducing as many times and with as many women as possible through love marriages. While furthering the narrative of Hindus as being somehow persecuted by Muslims, it also happens to supports the cause of a Uniform Civil Code which would curb the spread of the “love Jihad” by limiting the number of wives a Muslim man could have - claiming a demographic war where Hindus will eventually be outnumbered by the Muslim population, despite the population actually declining. We find similar flavours of hyper aggressive nationalism propagated by the Nazis as well as the Hindutva organizations. The BJP and the Nazi party both claimed to represent the interests of the “true” Indian/German people, and both proppound the rhetoric of being the sole representative of the best interests of the homeland. An ultra-nationalistic fever is being fanned across India, aided by indoctrination in schools (many run by the Sangh Parivar) and communities, the rewriting of history textbooks, the substitution of reasoned, moderated research and argumentation in exchange for inflammatory, divisive rhetoric that agitates more than explains. Devotion to the nation and devotion to the organization are taken to be synonymous, and to disobey the latter means to insult the former. This nationalist rhetoric is also supplemented with a healthy dose of chauvinist ideals of masculinity, where the populace is called upon to be a “real man”, or to “take a stand”. This type of rhetoric can incite and inflame communal tensions and is a thinly veiled call to violence. Communal violence is another way the Hindutva organisations strengthen and further their claim, especially the narrative of an outsider posing a threat to the Hindu community. The RSS is one of the largest paramilitary organisations in the world, and its members receive and propagate arms and weapons training. Many riots either have evidence of being actually organised by these groups, or of being provided arms and assistance during the riots from the groups. If this is alarming, then it is alarming for good cause. These organisations are now significantly placed and in charge of many administrative offices, and these tactics of politicising violence is reminiscent of Nazi Germany. Considering the similarities is not enough - one must also consider the wild differences between the contexts of the two movements. Hindutva in its modern form has gained popularity over the course of ninety years, and has had time to settle in and become comfortable in our discourse - it is far more normalised to us than Fascism would have been to an Italian or a German during World War II. Fascism was created because of the very peculiar post war conditions which differ hugely from the modern Indian political context. It gained its popularity and momentum within two decades, as contrasted against the almost full century Hindutva has been around. Fascism gained popularity in part due to the failure of major capitalist economies and worldwide recessions - another factor not associated with the rise of Hindutva. There was a significant perceived communist threat - again, absent from the modern political context. Another important factor is that since the world capitalist economy was deeply fractured, in no capitalist country were the bourgeoisie secure in their power. There is no doubt that today the economy stagnates occasionally and there is the presence of unemployment, the actual crisis is not at all acute, and more importantly the world economy is not fragmented. The need of the bourgeoisie to resort to a purely national solution to curb the threat they face from the working class, as they did in the 1930s. What does all of this mean for India? The Hindutva movement has been gestating for nearly a century now, without any significant attempt to establish a neo-fascist totalitarian authoritarian state in the image of Nazi Germany or Italy. There hasn’t been a nationwide ethnic cleansing of Muslim populations, a national relocation effort - but these have happened on a smaller scale, in different parts of the country. There is a pattern of growing communal violence against muslims, forced relocation and dispossession as a result of rioting. There are militant groups that persecute Muslim communities, groups with ties to the ruling party, groups that were once banned for being too militant but are now in charge of the democratic apparatus. We have established that the main proponents of Hindu ideology in the country are the RSS, Sangh Parivar, and associated organisations. We have also understood their desire for a Hindu hegemony over India where Indian is synonymous with Hindu, united by a common culture and religion. These proponents have been admirers of fascist rulers, and have openly expressed support for those movements. An understanding of the effects of nationalistic fervour and colonial politics of their inception allows us to view the subsequent actions of these groups in the proper context. A close analysis and comparison of Nazi ideology and Hindutva ideology reveals to us that several chilling similarities exist, such as the common cultural/racial identity, the presence of a threatening and malicious other, and the use of violence as legitimate political strategy. All of this together makes for a very complicated and tense political arena which it can be definitively said about that yes, modern Hindutva is an expression of fascist ideology. This is not to say that these groups are identical - on the contrary, they are incredibly different and situated in different contexts. However, fascist ideals are so deeply ingrained in Hindutva politics that it is, at least ideologically, fascist. There can be no separation of fascism from modern hindutva because without the former, the latter does not exist. This also does not mean that a fascist regime in India is inevitable - on the contrary, it seems impossible. So no, a fascist regime is not upon us. But at the same time, the associations the RSS and the ruling BJP have with fascist movements are quite concerning for the entire nation. Bibliography

"Confused what I thought with something I feel, confused what I feel with something that's real..." He means that emotions can be manipulated into a constancy of negative feeling which are believed to be synonymous with the explanations for cruel punishment (abuse), especially but not limited to that punishment which is actually reasonless - such that the explanations are present at the same time as the negativity, and both become concrete as reasons for one's suffering and actions in one's mind. I've experienced this. From my realization that I don't have to change anyone's mind (at least): The vampiric over-force of my mind is how that I seek to be unknown to others, because it was made clear from the beginning that it was not safe to be known - to express myself in any way. To do so meant risking what I felt to be (and which I was made to believe) was my own survival (which along with the pain was equated with the twisting of my emotions) according to the social environment in which I lived. It was in the desire for a safe space, desperate and without awareness to know what that meant, that I became arrogant. This arrogance was in the surface-level perception - that which does not require effort, critical thinking or empathization. I was sensitive to behavior in general because I was made to be, and I stayed that way because I strived to go back to safety (which required understanding what that meant). "To distinguish, categorize and assume. To assume, categorize and distinguish." The anima and animus are not qualities of the feminine and masculine. They are psychological constructions - almost entities - that are created as a result of the desensitization of oneself to one's own emotions as well as the experience of imbalance of power that threatens one's survival. They were perceived to be gendered by Jung because he did not consider that men and women are not distinct in capability due to inherent difference(s), but because of the social normalization of emotional abuse and the imbalance of power that causes one to doubt one's survival. Everyone is capable of possessing (or, more accurately, being possessed by) an animal and an animus. The work that is lasting is to make them unified in the mind of oneself. The reason that I have behaved in such a way as to cause others to be insecure is because it is that much easier to do so - to normalize an environment of deception and unworthiness - than to force oneself to the correct conclusions. Also, because this behavior was normalize to me and I was ignorant as to how to fix it without the foundation of correct information. Ullr is not a god. He is the idea of the human being who strives to be everything that is true to himself or herself, beyond everything which he or she was ever made to think that meant by others.

SSE Fixes - In the INI file provided, set ReplaceMutex=1
SSE Engine Fixes - Has SIMILAR fixes to SSE fixes. Make sure to read BOTH descriptions to get the desired effect. Engine Fixes no longer has an INI file and is instead using a .toml which you can edit with Notepad++. Functionally, it is identical to an INI file. If you are not using RaceMenu, set DisableChargenPrecache = true in the provided .toml file.
PrivateProfileRedirector - Faster Game Start - Can confirm, works like a charm.
Disease Fixes - The better at restoration you are the... worse the diseases you contract? In all seriousness, it changes the PlayerVampireQuestScript script. This means that if you plan on using a vampire overhaul (Sacrosanct, Better Vampire, or Sanguinair Vampirism) you are going to get errors. You can circumvent this by deleting the "scripts" folder in the mod but then you will notice that despite transforming into a vampire, you maintain all diseases. Shrines, Vigilants, and Potions can still cure those, though.

2020.09.21 11:51 mahendra55_123456What are the things to remember before buying your dream home?
Electronic City, a place which is synonymous with IT companies and touted as the outsourcing capital of the world has now become a hot favorite for many house hunters. For those of you who are looking to buy a Flat in electronic city, I am sure you must have a lot of unanswered questions due to a plethora of options being available in the vicinity and are confused with the constant advice pouring in from friends and family. Add the rice in fraudulent agents to your woes; it is definitely a tough job. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Here are a few tips to keep in mind before purchasing a property near electronic city. Builder Reputation A very key point which most first-time buyers tend to ignore is verifying the builder’s reputation. Be it a project near Electronic City or anywhere else, it is always wise to do a background check on the builder's past projects. Many individuals have been duped of their hard-earned money just because they couldn’t do quick internet research. It would also be a great idea to do some field research and actually go check out the projects near Electronic city before you take the plunge. Security A good apartment in an electronic city should boast of a robust security system. Make sure that all the security systems are in place and ask questions and clear all your queries to ensure that you are well protected. Water Storage With our water resources being depleted at a large scale, it only makes sense that you check what kind of water storage mechanisms are in place. Though it has been mandated for homes and commercial establishments to harvest rainwater in Bangalore, the sad reality is that there are many apartments in electronic city which have not yet implemented this rule. Hence always check that the property you wish to purchase has this in place. Amenities: After a long day at work, you would finally want to unwind. Any ideal project near Electronic City should boast of a super-cool swimming pool, a meditation pavilion, clubhouse and various sports courts and parks to help you relax and make you feel rejuvenated. So check these before you earmark the property. RERA Approvals When looking for projects near Electronic City, this is something that you should be definitely looking for as your interests may not be protected if you go for a project that is not registered with the RERA authority of the state. The RERA registration status is very important as it would ensure greater transparency and shield you from unfair malpractices by fraudulent builders. Stay Safe. In conclusion, zeroing on a good home is never easy, what with so many apartments in electronic city vying for your attention. Always go for those projects which lay emphasis on Quality. We, here at Mahendra Aarna highly believe in Excellence in Quality as can be evidenced in our existing and upcoming projects near Electronic city. We have designed all our projects according to customer feedback which is why we have employed several features and amenities like no wall sharing between two flats, private gardens, pet parks, clubhouse, infinity pool, squash court, and several other amenities. Most apartments in electronic city have battled with the issue of water which we don’t want our residents to face and have thus employed rainwater harvesting to help save water for future use. Most importantly, we are registered with RERA thus ensuring that the interests of all our investors are secured and to ensure greater transparency. 2020.09.21 10:03 KakstorplozeMy first impression and why I think HLL is somewhat schizophrenic
Hello. I played 2 days now and I've gathered some impressions, one of which I will address here. I'll try and be brief. I'm not going to pretend to speak for anyone but myself, but I think that most would agree that HLL's strong point is it's immersive qualities. Many have longed for that authentic feel of a WW2 game to contrast todays frantic, and frankly infantile competition, and HLL scratches that itch and it does it well. It's then with some amount of puzzlement that I find that there are mechanics in the game that seem rather unnecessary and who's only function really is to derail the players into gaming the game rather than having fun with that immersion. I am of course specifically thinking of the garrisons (or whatever name the various temporary spawn points have). From what I understand, they are all important, and the team who has the command who is most active placing these spawn points, has such a massive advantage that it might be synonymous with victory. Consequently, you get a division between the "serious" teams who's primary concern is to (often exploitatively) drum up the supplies and endlessly run around placing them, and then you have the "dumbasses" who only wants to fight (but who might in fact be focusing on the strongest point of the game). I can't see any reason why these spawn points is something that needs to be managed by the players, but I can see many reasons why they shouldn't be. A couple I mentioned above, but there are more as well that are more in line with what we're trying to get away from than what plays up to the strong point of HLL (like suicide to respawn travel). Stuffing mechanics like this into a game is a dime a dozen, any game can do it. Making the player feel like they're in a proper war is rare. The war is there, it's visceral, complex and demanding. It's enough, and I don't think we need any more. So to conclude; Less is more and HLL should shed this mechanic (and maybe others) and focus on it's core strength, which is what makes it stand out. Thank you for reading.

Sanskrit avyaktādīni bhūtāni vyakta-madhyāni bhārata avyakta-nidhanāny eva tatra kā paridevanā Synonyms avyakta-ādīni — in the beginning unmanifested; bhūtāni — all that are created; vyakta — manifested; madhyāni — in the middle; bhārata — O descendant of Bharata; avyakta — nonmanifested; nidhanāni — when vanquished; eva — it is all like that; tatra — therefore; kā — what; paridevanā — lamentation. Translation All created beings are unmanifest in their beginning, manifest in their interim state, and unmanifest again when annihilated. So what need is there for lamentation? Purport Accepting that there are two classes of philosophers, one believing in the existence of the soul and the other not believing in the existence of the soul, there is no cause for lamentation in either case. Nonbelievers in the existence of the soul are called atheists by followers of Vedic wisdom. Yet even if, for argument’s sake, we accept this atheistic theory, there is still no cause for lamentation. Apart from the separate existence of the soul, the material elements remain unmanifested before creation. From this subtle state of nonmanifestation comes manifestation, just as from ether, air is generated; from air, fire is generated; from fire, water is generated; and from water, earth becomes manifested. From the earth, many varieties of manifestations take place. Take, for example, a big skyscraper manifested from the earth. When it is dismantled, the manifestation becomes again unmanifested and remains as atoms in the ultimate stage. The law of conservation of energy remains, but in course of time things are manifested and unmanifested – that is the difference. Then what cause is there for lamentation either in the stage of manifestation or in unmanifestation? Somehow or other, even in the unmanifested stage, things are not lost. Both at the beginning and at the end, all elements remain unmanifested, and only in the middle are they manifested, and this does not make any real material difference. And if we accept the Vedic conclusion as stated in the Bhagavad-gītā that these material bodies are perishable in due course of time (antavanta ime dehāḥ) but that the soul is eternal (nityasyoktāḥ śarīriṇaḥ), then we must remember always that the body is like a dress; therefore why lament the changing of a dress? The material body has no factual existence in relation to the eternal soul. It is something like a dream. In a dream we may think of flying in the sky, or sitting on a chariot as a king, but when we wake up we can see that we are neither in the sky nor seated on the chariot. The Vedic wisdom encourages self-realization on the basis of the nonexistence of the material body. Therefore, in either case, whether one believes in the existence of the soul or one does not believe in the existence of the soul, there is no cause for lamentation for loss of the body.
